I tried running again

So the last time I ran was in 2020 during the great pandemic lockdowns (Yes there were more than one)

With summer round the corner I thought i would add some cardio to my workout routine.

Started off easing in with a few laps of a small field not to far from my house , I walk this field most days with the dog when on my morning work calls.

I did 1.32km in 7m 55s with a 1km pace of 5m 58s which is not to far off my 2020 pace.

Now I know 2 laps is 1.32km, I need to do roughly 8 laps to do a 5km or plan a 5km route.

I will continue try and run on my non 'Workout' or 'Rest' days and the goal is to do 3 x 5km runs a week.

I do this with the hope to lose a few kgs/lbs to possibly compete in the 83kg catagory in my next powerlifting meet while hopefully still being as strong.
